Zeidel & Associates founder Robin Zeidel was recently a guest on the Tuesday’s Thanks podcast, hosted by Brian Procter.

In the episode, Robin reflects on the personal and professional journey that ultimately led to the founding of Zeidel & Associates. The conversation with Brian begins with her upbringing in Queens and explores several pivotal decisions that shaped her career, including how she chose Vassar College, why she left a career in book publishing to attend law school, and what prompted her to leave an in-house position with Starwood Hotels & Resorts to establish her own hospitality and real estate law firm.

Consistent with the podcast’s focus on gratitude and mentorship, Robin discusses the people who influenced her career and helped shape her professional path. She shares appreciation for mentors, colleagues and family members, as well as the support she has received from the small-firm and solo practitioner community throughout her years in practice.

As Robin notes during the interview:

“I was fortunate to have many great mentors in the corporate legal world that I am so grateful for, but I am especially thankful for the small law firm and solo lawyer community. They were and continue to be a fantastic source of support.”

Now in its sixth season, Tuesday’s Thanks features business professionals who reflect on their careers and recognize the individuals who made a meaningful impact on their success.
