Tracie H. Cohen is a real estate attorney with extensive national and global experience. She represents property owners, developers, property managers, hoteliers, and restaurateurs with their real estate, hospitality, and construction transactions. Tracie represents landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions across a variety of property types including office, retail, short term stay/hotel, restaurant, medical, garage, and temporary “pop up” uses. Her practice includes negotiating, drafting, and finalizing acquisitions and sales of real estate and hotels, as well as vendor, licensing, and advertising agreements and architect, design, and construction contracts.

Prior to joining the firm, Tracie worked for New York City law firm Moses & Singer LLP, where she handled commercial transactions related to office, restaurant, and retail leasing and the acquisition and sale of commercial property. She also worked for Am Law 100 law firm Paul Hastings LLP, primarily in its Tokyo, Japan office, leading financings for a major international bank. Previously, she was foreign counsel for the Tokyo law office of Nishimura & Partners (now Nishimura & Asahi), handling corporate, hospitality, and real estate matters for Japanese and U.S. clients.

Before law school, Tracie worked as a legislative assistant to U.S. Representative Jerrold Nadler in his Washington, D.C. office, where she focused on public buildings and grounds, aviation, and funding for the arts.

Tracie graduated from Fordham University School of Law with her J.D. in 1998 and earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
