Zeidel & Associates Represents Maverick Hotels & Restaurants in Merger with Waterford Hotel Group

Zeidel & Associates is pleased to announce its representation of Maverick Hotels and Restaurants in connection with its merger with Waterford Hotel Group in a strategic partnership. As part of this merger transaction, the firm was asked to negotiate changes to the hotel management agreement for a key property in Maverick’s managed portfolio, which the owner wished to modify as a condition to granting its approval to the merger. In addition, the Waterford team wished to strengthen certain terms of the agreement for the benefit of the management company going forward. We were able to advise our client on language which addressed these requests in a way that would be acceptable to all parties. This work was completed on an expedited basis so that the merger could proceed in a timely manner.
