Zeidel & Associates Represents Major Food Group in Cambridge House Hotel, London

Zeidel & Associates is pleased to announce its representation of Major Food Group (MFG) in connection with a license and consulting agreement for the Auberge Collection’s upcoming London hotel Cambridge House, which is being transformed into a luxury hotel with restaurant, bar and lounge spaces.  MFG’s new, original concept, Major’s Grill, will open at the hotel.

The firm was asked to prepare the agreement, working with MFG’s British counsel, and to negotiate and finalize this cross-border transaction with the hotel owner’s attorneys in London.

The firm was tasked with maintaining flexibility in the agreement as to whether MFG’s spaces would be operated as one single restaurant or more than one food and beverage outlet with multiple brands, which could be existing or newly created. The firm ensured that MFG’s rights to its proprietary information and intellectual property were sufficiently protected under the different potential scenarios, and that the ownership rights for any potential new brand were clearly reflected in the agreement.
