Second Anniversary Update

Two Years and Counting – 7/1/12:

Another year has flown by, and we are proud to mark the two year anniversary of Zeidel & Associates P.C.  This past year we have enjoyed continued diversification in our practice areas and growth of our client base. As always, it remains our mission to draw on our global law firm and corporate experience to provide our clients with a quality alternative to traditional large law firms at a reasonable cost, with a highly personal and practical approach.

Some highlights from the last year include:

• Our acquisition and development matters,  which involved hotels and other properties, were driven by sustained activity from developers and investors able to facilitate transactions with equity joint venture arrangements and longstanding lender relationships.
• We finalized a number of hotel management agreements, often with challenging negotiations, particularly where numerous entities were involved on the ownership side, including the hotel operator itself.
• We represented owners on a substantial number of construction and design contracts for a steady flow of renovation and development projects, with goals of either maintaining quality standards or renovating as a result of a change in ownership or brand.
• We were involved in significant retail and restaurant leasing activity with owners and tenants with the resources to capitalize on the current marketplace.
• In our restaurant management agreement transactions, we saw owners’ continued emphasis on engaging chefs and brands with immediate name recognition and alignment with the positioning of their properties.
• Our office and corporate leasing transactions shifted to tenants that were expanding or relocating, as opposed to the downsizing activity of recent periods.
• We supported our clients by handling the documentation of a wide variety of other business transactions, including services contracts with a spectrum of providers, employment agreements, branding agreements and the development of form contracts.
