Tracie H. Cohen is Senior Counsel at Zeidel & Associates P.C., focusing on all aspects of the firm’s practice. Prior to joining the firm Ms. Cohen worked for Moses & Singer LLP for most of her career, handling a wide variety of commercial transactions focused on commercial office, restaurant and retail leasing and purchases and sales of commercial property.
Ms. Cohen spent a portion of her career at Paul Hasting LLP, primarily in its Tokyo, Japan office, leading financings secured by investors’ interest in non-performing loan portfolios. Previously she was foreign counsel for the Tokyo based law office of Nishimura & Partners, handling a variety of corporate, hospitality and real estate matters for both Japanese and U.S. clients. Before entering law school, Ms. Cohen worked as a legislative assistant to U.S. Representative Jerrold Nadler, in his Washington, D.C. office, specializing in public buildings and grounds, aviation and funding for the arts.
Ms. Cohen graduated from Fordham University School of Law and earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association. She grew up in New York City and now resides in Westchester with her husband and children. Ms. Cohen is an active member of the executive committee on the Board of The Picture House Regional Film Center, a nonprofit organization promoting the preservation of a 1921 movie house and supporting availability of arts and culture to diverse audiences through film and education programming.
